NY ALPHA'S
For the month of September I will be riding my bicycle to raise awareness and funds for research to help find a cure for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. Many suffer from this rare genetic lung and liver condition, including me.
This fundraiser is called, Riding for a Reason and the reason is Alpha-1!
On September 23rd and 24th the Alpha-1 Foundation and the American Lung Association will be hosting the Escape to the Cape (Cape Cod) bicycle ride. Riders from across the country will ride for this cause which is very important to me and others with Alpha-1. I’ll be joining this ride while I wear supplemental oxygen.
