Join me in my efforts to support the
Alpha-1 Foundation!
Hello for the ones of you that do not know I have a genetic disease called Alpha1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. My daughter Amber is also a carrier, my 2 brothers are MZ which makes them carriers and my father was a carrier, my mother died when I was young, but she had to be a carrier for me to be a ZZ I received a bad gene from each parent. It is an All-in The Family Disease. I was diagnosed in 1991 at the age of 36 and by 11/22/2001 at 46 I received a left lung Transplant; this year makes 23 years. In 2017 I started having some issues, so 11/28/2018 I received a right lung Transplant, and this year will be 6 years. Since the beginning I have been involved and helping to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure! Please help by donating, any little bit helps! Please join my Team and Together We Can Make a Difference!
My family and I will be walking in the Blue Ridge Mt. on my 23rd Lungaversay wearing purple to support Alpha1.
This cause is very important to me. Your donation will help support the great programs and research conducted to find a cure for Alpha-1. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
